Night at the Palais
Night at the Palais
Overnight experience from 9 pm to 10 am the following morning.
Sleeping at the Palais means entering, for one night, a different time.
The Night at the Palais is an immersive experience designed for those who wish to live the residence in its deepest authenticity: not as a simple guest in an accommodation facility, but as a traveller inside an ancient house, with its silences, its furnishings, its shadows and its memory.
It is important to know this before booking: the Palais is not a hotel and does not offer the comforts of a modern room. The experience is intentionally essential, historical, almost outside of time. The rooms, beds and mattresses belong to past eras, particularly the nineteenth century: they are clean, carefully prepared and used with respect for their ancient nature, but they preserve the authentic character of the original furnishings.
Running water and 220V electricity are available, along with two bathrooms: one on the ground floor and the other on the second floor, the latter with a 1950s bathtub and hand shower. However, there is no hot water or modern heating. For the night, clean sheets, pillowcases and towels are provided, together with wool blankets. We also provide a small gas stove with three burners and tableware, plates, pans and period utensils: antique objects, marked by time, yet carefully cleaned.
Those who choose this experience are not looking for standardised comfort, but for atmosphere, authenticity and memory. A night at the Palais requires a spirit of adaptation, respect for the place and the desire to be accompanied by a residence that has not been transformed to resemble the present.
When the lights dim and the house grows silent, every room seems to tell something: the breath of the stone, the creaking wood, the mirrors, the corridors, the antique furniture, the feeling of truly being inside another era.
The Night at the Palais is an experience for curious, sensitive and aware people.
It is not a comfortable night in the modern sense of the word: it is an authentic, intense and unusual night.
It is not a hotel: it is a lived-in historic residence.
It is not just an overnight stay: it is an encounter with memory.
